CDSR Submarine Oil Hose
Submarine Oil Suction and Discharge Hoses can meet the service requirements of fixed oil production platform, jack up drilling platform, single buoy mooring system, refining plant and wharf warehouse. They are mainly applied in Single Point Mooring systems. SPM includes Catenary Anchor Leg Mooring (CALM) system(also known as Single Buoy Mooring (SBM)), Single Anchor Leg Mooring (SALM) system, and turret mooring system.

The submarine hose strings have different configuration types such as Steel 's', Lazy 's', and Chinese Lantern. The configuration is formed by adding buoyancy blocks to the submarine hoses, Chinese Lantern is the mainly applied configuration type. In a CALM system, the single-point mooring buoy is fixed on the seabed with 4-8 anchor chains. There is a turntable and a rotary sealing joint on the buoy. The turntable of the oil storage barge and the single-point buoy are connected by a wire rope or steel arm, which can be rotated 360 degrees, like a weathercock, to keep it in the position with the least force. In service, the crude oil enters the buoy through floating hose strings from the oil storage barge or the oil tanker, then through the rotary seal joint at single point enters the submarine hose strings and submarine pipelines, and finally reaches wharf oil storage.
The Lining of the Oil Suction and Discharge Hoses is of an elastomer and fabric suitable for continuous operation at a flow velocity of 21 metres/second. If velocities in excess of these values are required, they should be specified by the Purchaser. The exposed internal and external surfaces of the end fittings and flanges (including flange faces) is protected by hot dip galvanisation in accordance with EN ISO 1461, from the corrosion caused by seawater, salt mist and transmission medium.
Relying on the design centers located in Hamburg, Houston and Singapore, CDSR is able to provide clients with configuration research, engineering scheme research, hose type selection, basic design, detailed design, installation design and other services for submarine hose strings.
